Pangolins in serious trouble

In spite of bans on the legal trade of this species, they still remain the world’s most trafficked mammal – and the primary reason is the belief that their scales have healing properties. This superstition, which still flourishes in spite of clear evidence that the scales have no medicinal value, is driving this vulnerable species to extinction.

This is to raise awareness about the fact that pangolin scales have no healing properties whatsoever and that demand for pangolin scales is threatening them with extinction. The protection of every species is important to maintaining a healthy biodiversity, and the pangolin is no exception. I ask that you officially renounce the use of pangolin scales in traditional medicine and work to educate consumers about the real costs of fake medicine.

Anyone can draw?

Drawing and Painting is all about practice.  Learn from your mistakes, analyze and improve.  People are not born with the natural gift of painting (most often being debated by those who are lazy to take a pencil and draw), although I wont argue that some people pick it up faster than others.

The old masters were all amateurs when they started and went through the stages of learning, making mistakes before they mastered it, so to everyone out there…. you have no excuse for not being able to draw and paint 🙂  My next series will be talking about the old Masters.
